I followed the instructions by downloading the Ja Antares quickstart package and then uploaded all files to my site. I then typed in my url and the installation never initiated. Instead I received this message below:

PLEASE REMEMBER TO COMPLETELY
REMOVE THE INSTALLATION DIRECTORY.
You will not be able to proceed beyond this point until the installation directory has been removed. This is a security feature of Joomla!.
Click here when the directory has been removed.

When I removed the “installation” directory the site came up, but of course it didn’t look like the demo.

Anyone know why this would happen?

i guess the mods / admin forgot to remove the install folder and the configuration.php before repackaging the quickstart package.

Re-upload the installation folder and delete the configuration.php and try again.

That should work – i had to do the same thing on at one point with another template
