Anyone have any idea why this error occurs when trying to install JA Nerine Quickstart??

Upload template – Upload Error
Failed to move uploaded file to /media directory.

Permissions are correct on directories.

Can you try to use ftp? Just unzip the template on your computer and ftp it up?

I had the same problem. What i did to resolve the problem was: I removed joomla from my webserver. I Unzipped the JA_Nerine quick_start template locally. Once unzipped I uploaded all the folder/files of JA_Nerine quick start to my server. If you look at the directory structure it’s the same as the joomla structure. I then went to http://www.mydomain.com/index.php. and this will install joomla with the template.

Thanks for the replies. I misunderstood the nature of the “quick start” files but it’s clear now after reading suggestions here.
