I downloaded the latest Joomla 1.5.17-Teline II Quickstart kit (last revision 5 May 2010), unpacked it then uploaded. Renamed the directory, created usual database, username, etc.

When I tried to install, it did not initiate. No error indicated, just a blank page.

Note: I tried my previous download of the Joomla 1.5.15-Teline II Quickstart kit, updated it with the Joomla upgrade to Joomla 1.5.17, and the installation worked, as it always did in previous installations.

Dear cgc0202!

Your server disabled the php warning, so that you only see the blank page if the site has php problems, it’s so difficult to find reasons on this

I think that you shout install a server on your pc (you can wamp, or xampp) and try to install those packages and check each php warnings,

Hi tienhc,

I don’t understand what you mean. Have you tried instaling it yourself?

I tried it twice in two different sites, both had the same problem. So, I deleted both.

I uploaded my previous Joomla 1.5.15- Teline II QuickStart Kit, upgraded using Joomla 1.5.15 to 1.5.17 (from a download Joomla upgrade zi[pfile). The performed the installation.

It worked.

This means it is the latest Joomla 1.5.17- Teline II QuickStart Kit that has a problem. Could you please perform an installation yourself; Thanks.

That’s odd. tried it in t Iwo different sites and both did not work. It did work with my old download, Joomla 1.5.15 (=> 1,5.17)-Teline II v1.6

I will redownload the most recent Quickstart kit again, this week. And try one more time. I will post again, when I get any result. If not, I will just used a different approach right now, use the old QuickStart and upgrade to latest Joomla.

One of my sites have been hacked. Thud, my webhosting service does not encourage us to share our FTP password and other items.
