I’ve just installed the latest version of ja_teline_ii_quickstart_v1.3_1.5.x on my webserver, having to unzip it on my PC, then FTPing it to the server.
All the pre-requisite installation options were green, apart from the display errors one, which was red.
After removing the installation folder I instantly got the following message:
Fatal error: Class jplugin: Cannot inherit from undefined class jeventhandler in /home/jqsimkgl/public_html/profwriting/libraries/joomla/plugin/plugin.php on line 29I haven’t installed anything else.
The URL is: http://www.visitgallery.com/profwriting/

Hainn, regards.July 8, 2008 at 8:43 pm #258631Hi Hainn,
I’ve saved a copy of the plugin.php file as plugin.txt and attached it – seems I couldn’t upload a php file.
Hope this helps. Thanks for looking into this for me.

Hi hainn,
Is this for both Joomla 1.0x and Joomla 1.5x?
I understand from your explanation above that there is something missing? My actual question actually is this:
How come some people here experienced the problem? I never did encounter this problem.
As a follow up:
What is not accomplished if there isn’t JEventHandler in joomla?
Thanks,
Cornelio

I do not want to be changing something, unless needed.
