I have installed the mambots and modules of DocMan in the JA Mageia template, and encounter problems when I’m trying to install the component. First, I get the message that it does not support that version (com_docman_1.4.0rc3), and when I try again, I get this message: “Another component is already using directory: “(mysite)/components/com_docman/”.

I have tried on other templates with no problems…

You need to use a ftp program and delete the folder components/com_docman

I deleted the files (also in the administration folder) through Dreamweaver…

And still have problem? If so, log into your hosting account and use the file manager from there

Still having problems after using the host file manager. This is what it says: <blockquote>Joomla! / Mambo / Elxis /… version is not supported by DOCman</blockquote>
