I install Ja iris quickstar joomla 1.5 in http://www.lamardeventos.com, doesn´t work ok. I only have this message “Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/lamarde/public_html/templates/ja_iris/html/mod_login/default.php on line 11”

I downgrade the site to Joomla 1.0, every thing ok in this version.

I just did a fresh install just now and went to the “preview” and got this same message:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /homepages/0/d228871717/htdocs/changeimpetus/newsite/templates/ja_iris/html/mod_login/default.php on line 11 Site is http://www.changeimpetus.com/newsite

I don’t want to use Joomla 1.0 if I don’t have to..I used the quickinstall zip as well.

I did not get a resolution to this problem for Iris Template- I installed a new template and it works.

Must be a template problem then??

I need to use this Iris template for a new demo site, so it would be good to get this resolved guys.

Try to remove the mod_login folder from the html folder of the template.
ja-iris/html/mod_login folder
