I am having an issue installing the JA_Nickel Template on Jooma 1.5.10. Whenever I attempt to install the zip file in the quickstart directory, I receive this error:

Error! Could not find a Joomla! XML setup file in the package.

Steps to Rececreate:

1. Downloaded and unzipped the JA_Nickel template.
2. Logged into Joomla admin.
3. Navigated to Extension Manager –> Install.
4. Selected the file to upload (the qs_j1510_ja_nickel.zip in the quickstart directory).
5. Clicked “Upload File & Install”.

Host: GoDaddy.com

Please help. Additionally, what is the name of the xml file the error is referring to? Is there a standard place in each template where I can find it?

Sounds like you tried to install the Quickstart package instead of just the template.

You are correct. I thought the instructions said to install that as opposed to trying to install the template and modules individually. But, to no avail. When I installed them individually, everything worked.
