This is with frontpage and tabs turned off.

I did not install the quickstart, I just installed Teline III over a previous template and Frontpage and Tabs appear in the right column instead of in the middle. I did install all of the extra extensions and turned them on. The extras just stack up in the right column regardless.

Necessary to install quickstart with sample data to get most of the features to work?

The date and time in the top left corner is not the same as the settings in my global cfg. Is there somewhere to edit it?

Dear willstear12,

1. you need to install mod_janews2 and mod_janews_fp_j15, to have the demo look for your frontpage.
2. It would be wise to install quickstart on your localhost, so that it would be easier for you to configure your new template. You can also refer to the userguides for each module / plugin to set up default values, as shown in the screenshots. The screenshots in userguide are taken from the demo site.
3. Not sure where to start? Pass on the site login info via PM, i shall do some quick settings for you.
