    Is it possible to use ionicons within the Uber template similar to how Font Awesome icons are used with the Features Intro block?

    @alandavison

    Yes, you can try with following steps:

    • Get the zip file from ionicons: http://ionicons.com/
    • Extract zip file and check out the file ‘readme.md’, it clarifies all steps to integrate icons.

      1. Download and extract the font pack
        1. Copy the ionicons.css to your project
        2. Copy the fonts folder to your project
        3. Ensure the font urls within ionicons.css properly reference the fonts path within your project.
        4. Include a reference to the ionicons.css file from every webpage you need to use it.
    • For Uber template, I did a test, you can download attached file and extract + copy to this directory: ROOT/templates/uber/fonts/

    1. ionicons.zip

    Thanks for this Saguaros. I downloaded the attached file and extracted/copied contents as directed. Is it possible to use ionicon fonts in place of Font Awesome fonts in Features Intro block? I tried using one however it did not work… Also, to the ionicon fonts need to be stored locally on the hosting web server?

    I got the info. Could you specify which exact module / content part you want to use this ionicons? I try to log into backend of your site but see no module in features-intro block as you mentioned.

    Module Title = Office 365 Services ID = 585
    Under the Features Into Section I want to use an ionicon "ion-map" in place of a Font Awesome Icon.

    Thanks.

    Try to open the file: ROOT/templates/uber/etc/assets.xml

    Under the tag, load the ionicons font like this:

        <stylesheets>
            <file>fonts/font-awesome/css/font-awesome.min.css</file>
            <file>fonts/ionicons/css/ionicons.min.css</file>
            <file>http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Roboto+Slab:300,400,700</file>
            <file>http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Open+Sans:400,300,600</file>
        </stylesheets>
