Hi all:

I’ve installed this template and everything works fine. However, I´d like to show some users tools as, for instance, the member area in Erica template or the user options in Fargo (change color and font size).

I’ve no idea on how to set up this options in Edenite. In fact, I do not know how to set up some modules, components and extensions that I’ve seen working in other templates. I’ve been looking for documentation and I don’t find anything. Is it easy?? or.. is it possible??

Any help will be appreciated, thanks in advance from Spain…..

My thoughts:

What I would do is install the all of the templates, and any extentions that come with them, which contain the cool functions you like…but still keep the template you want to use (Edenite) as the “default” template.

That way you’ll have loaded all the funtions you want into your Joomla instance. Then it’s just a matter of finding those new Modules / Plugins you installed and routing them to the positions you want them to appear in.

This may not work in all cases…meaning more hacking may need to be done…but at least you have the starting code available to you in your Joomla instance.
