Hi

I set up a new Joomla 2.5.9 install at godaddy (tulltales,com) no demo content, then tried to install the T3 Quickstart for Joomla 2.5, aka T3 Blank for Joomla 2.5 (t3_blank_j25.zip) via Extension Manager/upload and install, and installation failed with a 1060 error, “sql db function failed”. What am I doing wrong? Thx,

You are trying to install the blank or the quickstart version of the template ?

Because the quickstart cannot be installed on a preinstalled Joomla environment

OK. What steps are required then to upload it? Or can it only be uploaded into a local environment? Or is there another file you suggest that I can upload? My goal is to work with an existing site/template with the t3v3 framework. Thanks for your help!

If you want to start with an optimal environment to develop a T3Framework based website then you need to install the quickstart version

Just upload the extracted files of the quickstart version in an empty folder of your Host create a new db and start to install it

HERE You can find a guide on how to install a quickstart version.
