Hi,
Is there a way of using the Profile selection type within Jomsocial rather than the current custom field of user_type to trigger the automatic registration of Jomsocial users to the Jobboard?

It looks a bit odd during the signup process when a user is asked for this information twice and however I word it, it just looks like bad design of a registration form on my part.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

You can use JAJB Social plugin to auto sync from Jomsocial profile to JA Jobboard user profile.
