    Hi there.
    I set “Integrated Facebook Comment” at ON but can’t get it on my pages.
    What could be the reason?

    Installation is on Joomla 3.3

    2 JA fixel themes. One as default on all pages, one assigned to home only

    Integrated Facebook Comment is ON on both themes

    Its work on my local server with a quick start install.

    The prod website is built from scratch.

    I must have missed something
    Thank you for your hints and clues.

    Fred

    Hi Fred,

    This JA Fixel is not ready for Joomla version 3.3, we are still in progress of updating this template. Could you try to install the same Joomla version as local server into your hosting/server?

    If problem still persists, you can PM me admin login info of your site, I will have a look.

    Hi Saguaros,
    My local installation is J!3.2.3. As I said, the Facebook comment form is there.
    I updated to J!3.2.4, FB comment is still there.
    Finally, I updated to J!3.3, FB comment is still there 😮
    Then, I had an idea.
    I deactivated the component sh404Sef (from Anything digital) on an online website where the FB comment form was missing.
    The FB comment form is back :confused:
    Ahem… I really need this component
    I googled “sh404sef facebook comments” and I got this page http://anything-digital.com/forum/extension/sh404sef/2389-facebook-comments-missing-after-enable-sh404sef-url-optimization.html
    I disabled the sh404sef social plugin and tada! FB comments form is back.:p

    It seems it’s an issue sometimes met with JA templates (http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/ja-wall-and-sh404sef-not-working-facebook-comments/s).

    There is maybe something to discuss with the Anything digital’s guys, don’t you think?
    Anyway, thanks, you pushed me on the right way.

    There is an issue I have to solve is “Warning is unreachable”

    Hi Fred,

    It seems that sh404sef social plugin and FB comment plugin can’t work nicely together. Please raise the same concern into sh4040sef’s forum.

    For the warning message, it indicates that FB is unable to connect to your site. Please set your site online / public so that FB can get information from it.

    Hi Saguaros
    Everything is public on my website. I even created an appid on Facebook with the correct domain, website url and so on. But I still get this warning message.
    I launched the FB og debugger and it says that there is a 403 error.
    See https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/og/object?q=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.forhom-coiffeur-barbier.com%2Fhistorique%2Fpourquoi-forhom.html
    Everything is open excepting the admin folder which is secured by Apache.
    I thought that was related to the rewrite mod but I got the same error after having disabled the rewrite mod.

    At this point, I’ve exhausted all my ideas…

    I will try with a basic template to be sure this is not related to Joomlart.

    And by the way, http://web-sniffer.net/ returned always “Status: HTTP/1.1 200 OK”, and all the og:meta are there.

    <meta property="og:locale" content="fr_FR" />
    <meta property="og:title" content="Pourquoi For'Hom ? | Historique | Le salon | Forhom Coiffeur Barbier - Orléans" />
    <meta property="og:description" content="For'Hom Coiffeur-Barbier à Orléans, depuis 2000 - Rasage à l'ancienne avec des techniques modernes dans un cadre chaleureux." />
    <meta property="og:type" content="article" />
    <meta property="og:url" content="http://www.forhom-coiffeur-barbier.com/historique/pourquoi-forhom.html" />
    <meta property="og:site_name" content="For'Hom Coiffeur Barbier" />

    Hi again.
    After wandering in all the web with Google queries as a vehicle, I found it was related to the geoblocking system from Akeeba AdminTools Pro. I was blocking north america… (don’t ask why…). I allowed north america and the message is gone now. 😀

    I hope this can help people who use this component with Facebook comments (and maybe other).

    Regards
    Fred
