Hi,
Would anybody be interested in integrating Joomla user custom fields with JA builder?

The idea would be to display user fields on pages built with JA builder.

Example of use:

1. When a user login, we could display "Hello {username}" as welcome message.
2. Users add links (their website for example) in their profile. When creating a button, the URL could be from {website_url} and point to the user website.
3. User add social media links in their joomla Profile {facebook} {Instagram} etc. Then create social media icons which automatically link to them.

It would make very easy to personalize pages for users.

Actually, The request you shared seems more with the Joomla user registration forum and the user profile does not associate with the JA Builder blocks, It completely belongs to the Joomla user component.Where the fields are designed.
Share your ideas if you will any custom fields can link to any JA Builder blocks.

Hi,
I am not talking about building custom fields for Ja builder, but an integration to allow the use of Joomla custom fields within JA builder.

It may not seem obvious at first but believe me this would make possible to create a completely different type of interaction with the users registered on the Joomla sites.

Anything built with Ja builder could be presented with some personal users informations, plus as administrator, we could also create and display content that changes by simply modifying the value of a custom field.

Right now, there is not easy/out of the box way to do so. Integrating this in Ja builder would just make things so easy and quick for us. The perfect site builder 😉

Right now, you can integrate Joomla dynamic content into Builder by using widget (joomla module or joomla position). When you change an element type to widget, you can select a Joomla module or position to display at that place.

Another solution, you can use an extension allow to replace content with dynamic content (like replace {username} with current username). Such extension should be available in Joomla Extensions Directory.
