July 17, 2007 at 8:22 am #224374Are you entering the text using the html view? Or just pasting it in the content area? As pasting in content area would not work…
Further to this, if this is a form, then there is a great way of adding forms you have already made:
http://www.chronoforme.com I think the site is.At least the component is called something like this. Check it out on extensions.joomla.org
July 17, 2007 at 4:55 pm #224415For now, what I have done is keep those forms on seperate html pages and linked them from the menu. I did use the HTML view to paste the code and it would not display the form fields or the submit button.

Try disabling the wysiwyg editor before pasting the code. Just remember to enable it again afterward. This usually works.
July 17, 2007 at 6:31 pm #224427I am actually trying to embed some flash media into a page and it is not working as well. I used the editor and clicked on edmed media, and then typed the full path to my movie. It even displays the preview in that window, but then when I click insert and then preview it, it will not work. You will see on my home page that there is space for it, but it will not play……any advice?

the weirdest part is that I can hear the sound from the intro….also I noticed when I go in and change the code manually and click save, it takes the code back to what it was…..any advice?
*******I FIXED IT*************
I had to disable the wysiwyg editor all together. I will not be using that anymore……thanks.

July 17, 2007 at 6:48 pm #224428Youre welcome.
January 21, 2008 at 11:10 pm #236874I too am having trouble with posting a simple form. Though everything is posted in html view (html coding), it does not retain my coding and all the coding is visible on the WYSIWYG view – and everything looks okay on the actual webpage. But I need to make some changes but am afraid to change on WYSIWYG page, where all the html coding is visible, but that looks like my only option. Why is all the html coding being seen there (WYSIWYG editor) and why when making changes in html view are they not retained?
