    Hi,

One of our clients site’s using UBER is getting an internal server error when visitors click "continue" on the MijoShop checkout… I imagine it’s a problem with MijoShop, but they haven’t responded to our support ticket, so I wondered if you could help or point us in the right direction.

To test/repeat this error, please visit the "Test product" link in the admin details below, add the item to your basket and proceed to checkout. Once at the checkout, proceed through the steps and the error occurs when you click continue on "Step 5: Payment Method", you will see it displays an "Internal Server Error"…

    We have the following setup.

    PHP Version: 7.0.21
    Joomla Version: 3.7.4
    MijoShop Version: 3.2.1

Any advice would be greatly appreciated, as the client is losing sales because of this.

    Many thanks

    Hi,

It requires email to login to check out.

You can try to switch default template to a standard template of Joomla first (Beez / Protostar) and try to check out again. This will help to figure out where the error comes from.

    Hi Saguaros,

    Thank you for your response.

I tried changing the template to Beez, but unfortunately I got the same error 🙁

If you enter any email address e.g. "test@test.com" to proceed through the steps, you will see the error occur on step 5.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
    Many thanks in advance.

I’m afraid that you must contact developer of Mijoshop as there is something wrong with this component here.

    Hi @saguaros,

    Thank you for your response.

I think I’ve found the root cause of the problem myself…

This "Option to Product" custom modification appears to be causing the problem – Option to Product.

When the modification is enabled we get the error.

When the modification disabled and we refresh the modification cache, we can continue to the payment portal (PayPal Standard Payments), pay and complete the order with no issues or errors.

I’m going to contact the mod developer and ask him to investigate.

Thank you for your advice nonetheless, I realise this wasn’t an error/issue relating to JoomlArt, I appreciate your suggestions.
