December 2, 2008 at 8:56 pm #280996Yea there is a problem with your <head>. Right click and select ‘view page source’. See all the script calls?
Have you altered the index.php or head.php files? Have you gone to template manager>edit HTML and changed anything?
If the answer to all the above is NO then I’d try uninstalling phoca gallery and see if that is the problem.

December 2, 2008 at 11:30 pm #281008I have changed the size of the logo area in index.php
Why would phoca gallery be having problems when it is working in other browsers?
I disabled Phoca Gallery and refreshed website – didn’t work.
Can anyone please have a look at the site as I need to get this fixed.

December 2, 2008 at 11:51 pm #281011You change the size of logo in the CSS not in index.php. I suggest you copy the original index.php from the zip you downloaded and overwrite your modified one and see if that sorts it.

December 3, 2008 at 9:51 am #281108Hi Adam, unfortunately it’s 9.45AM here and I am in my regular job and can’t look at this at the moment.
The problem is the way the <head> is being generated and this is almost certainly being caused by a bug in a javascript.
<script type="text/javascript" src="/media/system/js/caption.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="/modules/mod_briaskISS/mod_briaskISS.js"></script>
<style type="text/css"></style>
<style type="text/css"></style>

<link rel="stylesheet" href="/components/com_phocagallery/assets/phocagalleryieall.css" type="text/css" />

Whats the mod in Red above? Try disabling it and see if it helps.
Was this a template install into an existing site? ie. not a quickstart install? What version Joomla are you running?
Have you tried Joomlarts Premium Email Support Service?

December 5, 2008 at 9:00 am #281383Hi Adam, I see the site is off at the moment. Have you had any luck with Premium Support? Do you have any idea yet what the problem is?
If not and you still want me to take a look, email me an Admin username and PW and your FTP info and I will take a look over the weekend.

December 5, 2008 at 9:04 am #281385Hi Scotty
We’re changing to another template.
I’m going to load Uvite onto a test server and systematically load each component one at a time to see which one has the issue and then report it as a bug.
Thanks for your help!
Really – thanks a lot… 😀

Yea that’s a good idea. You tested an original index.php file so you know that’s not the problem. I presume you didn’t alter head.php so that’s not the problem (you didn’t did you?) .
The next likely culprit is an add-on. I did read that there are some issues with Briask and IE but none like what you are getting.
Let us know how you get on.
