Hi,
I’m using teline_iv and the articles in a page displays 1 article but the rest of the articles on the page are displayed full in two columns, unlike the demo where they are displayed with a small intro and a readmore. How do I get it to look like the demo.
please check out this page when sports menu is clicked. It should display summaries like it demo, intead full articles are shown.
January 17, 2012 at 4:12 pm #434148Can I get a response joomlart? This should be basic enough since it’s configured right in the demo. I’ve compared my settings with the demo and it’s the same, so I must be missing something. Please respond asap. Thanks.

January 19, 2012 at 11:14 am #434464Hi,
2 things I have observed are that the articles do not have intro text specified in your articles which is done in the demo.. So once you define the introtext in an article, only that much content will be shown in the category blog layout.. I could not do this my self as the articles in Football category are locked for me..
Secondly, Gyan.. article seems to have other some formatting done separately. Hence the consistency in look isnt getting maintained and at some point the formatting syntaxes in the article may lead to break the template..
Let me know if you need any more help with this.
January 19, 2012 at 11:21 am #434466how do I enable intro text for all of them? My global settings has ‘show intro text’ enabled. This happens on all the articles. Thanks for looking into this.

January 19, 2012 at 11:36 am #434472You need to edit an article, place courser after the text which you want to use as introtext and then click on the Read more button at the bottom of the editor. It will place some separation in the text showing introtext (the content above this separator) and remaining text below it..
Try it with any of the articles on Sports page, so that you will know what exactly the separator does..

January 19, 2012 at 11:44 am #434473Oh, I thought there’ll be a setting that will allow for a set amount of characters to use as intro text. So that you don’t have to add a read more button. That’s alot of editing I must do now. Thanks again.
