April 5, 2012 at 7:57 am #175800I have installed Joomla Joomla 2.5.4 Stable Full Package on localhost and installed JA Puresite and Ja T3 System plugin for testing a new web development.
When creating a content using an intro image with the size 700 x 477 as same as the JA Puresite demo and creating a menu as a Category Blog using multiple columns but it does not resize the image to adjust its size to fit with the column width as shown in the picture below.
However, when I was trying the same thing with Ja puresite quickstart without installing sample data and I could create contents and set menu parameter as the example above. It shown me that it automatically resize the image as shown in the picture below.
I would like to know is there anything else that I set or install additionally in order to make the image does auto-resize on the content as multiple column?
PS. sorry for my English. :-[

Hi pavit
I not used ja_sidenews module for showing a content but I used create menu type “Category blog” and shown in 4 columns as the below.For the test site picture it is an example size 700×477 pixel it came from Quick Start and put into “intro image” and “Full article image” like a Quick Start as the below.
Did I forget to set something up?

Hello bronze_en,The above-mentioned screenshot with correct thumbnail is JA Sidenews module. It’s not category blog of Joomla core.
So please use JA Sidenews module for your purpose.
Best regards.

Hello bronze_en,I installed JA Puresite quick start and found that it uses JA Sidenews at that position. The module position is “user8”.
Best regards.

May 8, 2012 at 6:35 am #451959I found a cause of problem. Because of, a template.css line 456.
.img-intro-none img,
.img-fulltext-none img,
.img-fulltext-left img,
.img-fulltext-right img {
max-width: 100%;
}Assign only to the img-intro-none have a “max-width: 100%;”
But if I have a template puresite to installation in joomla which default of “Image Float” is “Left”. So when I insert pictures into intro image the pictures did not resize as the follow size column of show.
It unrelated to use JA Sidenews as the suggestion. According to the post, the demo site of JA Puresite in Portfolio menu does not JA Sidenews for show content but it using core of joomla for showing content.
According to the template.css have assign a img-intro-none is max-width = 100%. I not know it have intention of developer because the full text image still to assign (none, left, right) is max-width = 100%
As Nhat Nguyen installed the JA Puresite quick start and found the JA Sidenews used in position “user8” It is Sidenews to show content in category “Journal” it did not “Portfolio” menu.
So the problem of the pictures did not resize as the follow size column it unrelated to used a module JA Sidenews but it is a setup Image Float. It have to setup is “None” so the pictures is resize.
