Hello,

I have the following question regarding my site http://www.praward.ro/new (using JA Nex for Joomla 2.5):

The article on Front Page on position sl1-1 (module JA News Featured) has the property Show Intro Text set to “Hide” in backend (see Capture 1), but still the intro is shown on the article’s page (http://www.praward.ro/new/10-ani).

For this article I want to hide the intro text on the article’s page, although for other articles I may need to show the intro.

For other JA templates I used to set the global configurations as “show intro” and to set the property to “hide” for some articles where I didn’t want the intro on the articles’ pages. This doesn’t seem to work here.

How can this be done in the case described?

Hello oancea,

Because your article link to “Single article” menu type, so you need to set hide intro text in menu item.

I checked again both article and item menu parameters. For both, intro text is set to “hide”. But the intro still appears in the article page. I sent you a PM with my admin data, so you can have a closer look at it. Please help me 🙂

Hello oancea,

I set “Hide” in menu item settings for testing before for you. Intro text was hide in http://www.praward.ro/new/10-ani as you see in my screenshot.

Please try to clean your cache. Maybe your browser cache caused the problem.
