Dear Members,
After months of fine tuning, staff training and integration, I hereby launch the Online ” JA Project Management for Changelogs and Issue Tracking (bugs)” System. In Short it would be referred as JA PM System, where, PM stands for Project Management.
Brief Highlights:- This system is available online at http://pm.joomlart.com
- JA has been using this for quite some time internally for project management, bug tracking and issue management.
- After weighing available options for changelogs, bugs tracking and submission, it was decided to move this powerful system from the internal LAN to a powerful online server.
Features :
- Check changelogs between the versions as a list or individual issue description.
- Review Road Map for each product development cycle.
- View resolved / unresolved issues.
- Create account and submit Bugs, Issues, Wishlist etc…
- Receive instant e-mails on creation, progress and conclusion (fixed).
What’s Required from Members :
- Submit valid bug reports / issues, with complete details (as mentioned below in this thread).
- Be Specific and to the point. Avoid essay writing / novel writing.
- If the issue has been posted in forum, leave link to the forum also, so that once fixed, a reply regarding the same can be left in the thread.
- Only JA Products related bugs / issues will be given priority.
- Custom modification requests shall not be entertained.
- Wishlist / Feature requests are welcome, such requests on consultation with designers / developers will be moved to the New Version (this can be confirmed by checking the Road Map / development cycle), an option visible on the JIRA under each product. See screenshots below for details.
- Submit valid / feasible requests only. YES, I also wish to own the web, but its not possible. So please, analyze your request before posting it in JA PM or leave it in the forums, we shall move it to JA PM, if deemed valid and practical.
Critical Step in Bug Submissions:
- While submitting issues, STEP 2 is very critical. Click here to view Screenshot marked with arrows and text.
- Users are requested to be very careful while submitting this info and make sure that the marked info (as in screenshot) is duly covered in your submission.

- Hovering over the green boxes will provide tooltip of the issues in progress.
- Hovering over the numbers (versions), will provide tooltip stating the product in question.
- Option to change month are available on left and right top of the Issue Calender.
- Next to Issue calender is the option to Login and link to sign up (for new users).
- On the Top navigation menu, next to HOME is BROWSE PROJECTS, Click on it to choose between the projects (templates / components etc…), Details in next screenshot (below).

3. Selected Project Page.
- Click options in sub nagivation menu to choose between available information.
- Road Map >> This is restricted to 3 versions only (one current and two upcoming versions) View the status (bug status) of current Version. Coming up features / bug fixes scheduled for next version. Items from wishlist and New Features to be developed., shall be in the third version. Older version details can be assessed from Changelog link.

4. Changelog Link (page)
- Change Logs >> Complete Changelogs / Release Notes categorized into versions for the selected Projects can be accessed here. This shall cover release notes / changelogs from First release to Current Version in circulation. By default only the last 3 versions are shown, you can click on All Versions (as shown in the screenshot) to view changelogs of all versions released till date
- For new / coming up versions, check Road Map Link.

6. Landing page Post Login (Compare with first screenshot).- Click on “CREATE ISSUE” link to submit your bug report / issues.
- Follow the screenshot below for the steps involved while creating issue.
- Make sure you read the second step (Last screenshot) carefully and implement it in your action.

7. Issue Submission / Bug Report – Step One (Above).
- Select your Project (component / template etc…) from the first drop down menu.
- Select issue type >> For wishlist / new feature select new feature. For additional options in current versions choose “Improvement” and so on.
8. Issue Submission / Bug Report – Step Two (Above).
- Be careful in your submission.
- Make sure of each selection of options.
- Provide complete details of issue / replication steps / environment and so on (as mentioned in the screenshot above).
- Incomplete or irrelevant issues will be removed at the discretion of JA Staff, post discussion.
Please Note :
- As on today Issues information on only two projects JA Voice and JA Job Board have been made public in the JA PM System. In the coming days, all the products issues will be released for public view. Teline iii project will be released soon.
- Important issues (related with security / venerability issues may never be released to public but shall always be fixed on priority.
