    Hello

    Fronted end logout in joomla 1.6.1. on JA Community Plus is reporting an invalid token.

    Apparentley, it is a Joomla problem, but how can I fix this problem before the next update?

    Thank you

    Hi andybezara,
    I try the quickstart of JA Community Plus for Joomla 1.6 and the login, logout still work perfectly. Can you show me the link to your site?

    Yes, This is an issue of current version on the download section, but it has been fixed in the development version that will be released soon.

    Hello,

    I have the same problem with invalid token … Below you can see my message on JomSocial forum and also their response. They suggest you should give me a template update:

    My message:
    <blockquote>Site URL: http://www.humanitysteam.ro

    Product version: JomSocial 2.06
    Joomla! version: 1.5.23
    PHP version: 5.2.16
    MySQL version: 5.0.77-log
    Webserver version: Apache/2.2.3 (CentOS)
    Joomla! template used: JoomlArt Community Plus
    JomSocial template used: default

    I am having the issue where the token sent to retrieve my password forgotten is not working. I get the following error: “Your password reset confirmation failed because the token was invalid..”

    I am copying and pasting the activation code directly from the email. Need help fixing this since it has caused several members to leave the site altogether.

    I red an old topic and I checked if my template override the com_user and it doesn’t … also no confirm.php in template …
    I also checked confirm.php in com_user in order to see if the code below it is … and it was:)

    <label for=”username” class=”hasTip” title=”<?php echo JText::_(‘RESET_PASSWORD_USERNAME_TIP_TITLE’); ?>::<?php echo JText::_(‘RESET_PASSWORD_USERNAME_TIP_TEXT’); ?>”><?php echo JText::_(‘User Name’); ?>:</label>
    <input id=”username” name=”username” type=”text” class=”required” size=”36″ />

    Can somebody help me, please?

    PS: I din’t unpgrade to 2.2 version because of the translation language not finnishing yet … but I don’t think is this the problem…</blockquote>

    Their response:

    <blockquote>Your template is missing the username field. It needs to be updated. The token page must have a ‘username’ AND a ‘token’ field. See http://www.humanitysteam.ro/index.php?option=com_user&view=reset&layout=confirm

    You can see that viewing your site using the JA Purity template shows the ‘username’ field correctly, see http://www.humanitysteam.ro/index.php?option=com_user&view=reset&layout=confirm&template=ja_purity

    Cheers</blockquote>

    Waiting for your reply,

    Regards,
    Cristi

    Yep, me too, same problem with getting an invalid token error when it should work. Seems like the template is missing the user field in the /index.php?option=com_user&view=reset&layout=confirm file.

    Is there a quick fix for this? I’m losing users, people are getting frustrated and i’m spending way too much time re-setting people’s passwords for them manually.

    Please let me know!

    Edit: Seem like this has been a known issue for a year now. See here for more info:
    http://forum.joomla.org/viewtopic.php?f=430&t=511546&start=30
    http://docs.joomla.org/Confirm_password_in_1.5.16

    But I still can’t find the file that’s causing this error. I’ve found /ja-temp/components/com_user/views/reset/tmpl/confirm.php but it looks like it has the required user field.
