The invalid token appears if a user double clicks the login or if they have browsed away from the page and tries to login again.

I have turned system and template cache off to test it.
    any suggestions?

    Hi ecohaven,

That is not a problem, it’s there for the security reason, it protect users from kind of stolen information or something like that, each form is associated a token that also is stored at the server side, this token should be changed after a period of time, when you left your form without action for a quite long time then the token at the server side has been changed and your token would not match.
