I realize the “forum to use” is Kuena however I am about to use Joomla to drive the main content of my site. I am currently using IP.Board with Downloads option enabled. We have over 45,000 members and our downloads system has almost 10,000 files in it. So moving to another system is just not feasible nor practical.

I am curious what the best way to implement IP.Board would be with Joomla. (We are going to use the Teline III template).

I am hoping someone can hold my hand through this a bit since it does seem like it might be a bit of a chore. I do not plan to use the registration portion of Joomla at all for this site so that might make it easier.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Dear dutton!

with my idea, i think that the best way in here : you will use the both systems: joomla and IP.Board, you ‘ll develop a Bridge extension using for the account synchronization on those system. it ‘s heavy task to move 45,000 members from IP.Board forum to the “Kuena ” forum if you would like to only use joomla system.

i could not find any extensions in JED: http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/bridges/forum-bridges 🙁
