November 30, 2011 at 8:01 pm #171308I am wondering. Giving suggestion since in todays time of multiple handheld devices we seem to be in need of something like this:
iPAD split screen view. And i mean template optimized for that. Specially one as good as teline iv.Two formats are pretty much needed portrait and landscape with split screen.
I think JA should really think about this addition since in next year or so tablets will be more widely used for browsing and i would like to give it a shot with teline. Since right now it is all about zooming in and out of websites to read. We should really get the layouts right for tablets.

January 29, 2012 at 4:26 pm #436052Thank you for your suggestion.
I believe you are confusing the difference between an app and a website.
At this moment there are no plans to expand into the area of app development for individual platforms, and continue our development of creative, useful sites on the Joomla!, WordPress and Magento platforms…which by the way, look awesome and work amazingly on iPad, Kindle, Nook … actually ALL tablets platforms!

Also, since your post we have issued the first Joomla Responsive Template – JA Elastica – which by design responds to any device used to view it.And for kicks and giggles, open your tablet and HEAD TO THIS TEMPLATE. I think you’ll be amazed what you can do with a JoomlArt template in tablet environments.

We kinda agree with Jason Baptiste who’s free ONSWIPE program works with our Joomla and WordPress templates wonderfully, as well.
