Hi all, I have choosen the light blue theme as my main theme and this works fine but when I access the site through the iphone or handheld it appears to be the default dark theme which I obviously want to be the light theme? Is there a way to solve this:confused:

Thanks in advance

Dear jamjodesign!

does it make sense that the default iphone is a dark theme – because basically on such a small screen the light theme is much more beneficial to be honest :((

I dont really mind not having loads of themes but just wanted a light theme at least for the iphone

Dear jamjodesign!

You can customize the theme for the iphone by youself

Now:

1) pls install the User Agent addon off the firefox: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/59
this addon allow you create the environment same as the mobile phone.
2) you use the FireBug Addon to find styles of the elements, you ‘ll customize theirs styles.http://www.kristarella.com/2009/02/how-to-use-firebug-for-css/

You ‘ll open your site on firefox with the User Agent Iphone 3.0, you ‘ll customize as normally ( as with desktop)
Good luck

Ok I will see if I can give this a go:) A pity there is not a light theme for iphone – I must admit I think on the iphone dark themes just dont really work on a small screen – I am not sure if others agree but I think a clean, simple design on a small phone screen is much better – my opinion granted 😉

Dear jamjodesign!

i have informed our designer about the issue with the theme , they ‘ll check this issue!

but, i’m having a other way to resolve this issue for you

1) pls open the file: templatesja_oreslayoutsblocksiphonehead.php and add the following codes at end of file:
<link href=”<?php echo $this->templateurl(); ?>/css/colors/<?php echo strtolower ($this->getParam(JA_TOOL_COLOR)); ?>.css” rel=”stylesheet” type=”text/css” />
now, the theme of iphone will follow the theme of desktop
Good luck

Thank you this works, I thing the new blog layout has issues in the iphone theme aswell as there seems to be no images showing up in the iphone view when you look at the blog.
