When view in iphone, the page only fill half of a screen fill (vertical), also can not change back to iphone version after view desktop version.

i have same problem on the switching back to iphone too it seems.

What have you made change on your site? It looks good on our demo.

I have the exact same problem with iPhone & JA Portfolio for Joomla 1.6.

The problem exists when a mega menu dropdown has more than one column. It only shows the leftmost column on the iphone.

Also, the exact same issue exists where once you switch to desktop version, you can’t switch back to iphone version. Please fix this on JA Portfolio as well!

I didn’t change anything on the template. I did clean install.
Since I can’t change back from desktop version, I took a screen shot from your demo site (joomlart).

Did you change your menu/nav settings in the template manager? I noticed your not using the default mega menu.

Oh I was working on it. I changed from mega menu to drop line and took out the cpanel.

The problem is also apply to the joomlart teline 4 demo site itself.

I just checked Joomlart’s online demo and there are no js errors in either IE or Firefox. I have the Firefox user agent switcher add-on loaded and just tested the site. It switches back and forth fine between desktop and I-phone unless I’m not understanding your issue.

Please check on my attach image on page 1. The image was snapshot from my iphone. The same thing happened on my gf iphone also. The problem is all the content stack to the left of the screen. It doesn’t fill the whole screen like some of the template does, for example JA Rave display perfectly fine.

Change your template settings back to the default with the mega menu on –

Menu Type- magazine
Menu System- mega

Desktop Layout – default
Handheld Layout – handheld
Iphone Layout – iphone
Android Layout – handheld

If you are troubleshooting – you need to start from the default setting without things changed, then change one thing at a time and check it.

I’m assuming that you have the latest download – quick start package.

Just as a note. Per my previous post I was having the exact same issue with a fresh install of the J1.6 template and I hadn’t made a single change to settings etc having installed using the quickstart file. I didn’t resolve it.

I’ve now reverted back to J1.5 version of template for other reason and the template now looks fine on tmy iphone so this might be J1.6 version specific.
