July 22, 2012 at 7:42 pm #179321Hi.
I´ve made a site using JA Mendozite template. I´ve activated the handheld, iphone and android layouts. But I see any changes. When I visit the site from an iphone, the template doesn´t changes.
I´ve made another test site with JA Puresite, and only the default layout is activated. But when I resize the browser window, the layouts works perfect. When I resize the window to the minimum, appears the typical iphone menu.
I don´t know what I´m doing wrong, and it should be the opposite: smartphone layouts working on JA Mendozite site and not on JA Puresite
Can you please help me and tell me how should I do it?
Thanks!!!

July 23, 2012 at 4:14 am #461829Hi raulmvega,
In Template manager > Profile: choose your desired profile > then in Advanced settings > Layout settings, make sure that you assign iphone to iPhone layout.
Then clean T3 cache, it should work.

July 23, 2012 at 9:24 am #461891Hi.
Thanks for your answer, but that´s how I made. And it´s Development Mode enabled. I´ve checked the Site > Maintenance > Clear Cache page but it is empty… :S
And still not working
And the weird thing is what I told in my first post with the JA Puresite layouts…
Thanks again

July 23, 2012 at 9:48 am #461898Hi again,
So you’re wondering about the handheld, iphone and android layouts are not activated in JA Puresite template, right? This is because JA Puresite template is responsive template so that it will adapt and transform to fit the screen area of the devices (iPhone/iPad/Android)

July 23, 2012 at 1:00 pm #461922Ok… I´ve selected AUTO in template width and now I see it changes from an iPhone.
But some elements are “cut”, like the top slide at the home page…
Could I do something to made it responsive too?
Or how could I remove the “responsive” feature and adapt the iPhone layout?
Thanks

July 31, 2012 at 2:42 pm #462722Hi.
The URL is http://www.geniusconfcall.com/nuevaweb/index.php/en/
I set the template width at AUTO. And when I visit the site from an iPhone, all is narrower. But, for example, I want the 4 modules under the slide one over another. I need to find another solution, I can´t show it this way to my visitors…
Thanks

August 1, 2012 at 7:57 am #462816Dear raulmvega,
This JA Mendozite is not a responsive template and these modules used in this template are also not responsive so that they can’t adapt to display well in iphone, in order to achieve this you need some heavy customize work or post a small project in http://www.joomlancers.com/, i believe that developers here can helps you.
Regards.

August 1, 2012 at 2:53 pm #462873Hello.
Thanks for your answer.
I have one more question. At the info page of the template, at the T§ Framework part, says:
“3. Mobile Ready
Whether it’d be smartphones, iPhones or an iPad, the theme auto detects screen-sizes and adjusts page elements and layout to fit respectively.”Ok, if this template it´s not responsible, how should I do to make as the third point from T3 Framework says?
Otherwise, there is an iPhone layout included… how can I activated it?
Thank you for your patience

August 2, 2012 at 2:04 am #462898Hi raulmvega again,
In Template manager > JA Mendozite > Profile (tab) > Layout settings section (at the bottom of page), you can see that this template does support these devices: iPhone, handheld,.. In order to activate iPhone layout, you simply assign iPhone layout to devices you wanna use this layout. With iPad – which has high resolution screen so it will get the default desktop layout. You can make a try with these layouts and see the different.
And let me know if you need further helps.

August 2, 2012 at 2:29 pm #462983Hi.
JA Slideshow Lite is responsible, but not on my website. I´ve checked the module in the backoffice and set Main Item width and Main Item height as “auto” but I don´t see any change. Of course caché is disabled.
I have too enabled and disabled the iphone, handheld, etc layouts but everything looks the same :((
