    Hi

    The iphone search icon produces a search box when clicked but doesn’t go to search result. Also there is already a search box just under the Header text.

    How can I get the search module to work correctly from the icon and remove the search box from beneath the header – I have tried moving and removing code from header and mainnav php files in iphone block but it just won’t work.

    Anyone?

    For clarification (I cannot check as I do not have an iphone), does this only show up when you are using an iphone?

    According to the mainnav.php files in the layout blocks the search icon only shows on the iphone, not default, or handheld. I don’t have handheld either but checked mine and the demo template with iBBDemo2. Mine didn’t work but demo one did so not to worry I’m going to reinstall it.

    Thanks anyway!

    Ok so I have done a complete new install using quickstart option, so it is the same as the demo and the search aspect of the iphone setup only works on the second attempt. :((

    What needs to be done to correct it?

    You can use this addon of the firefox to test the iphone environment https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/59/

    => you open the file: /templates/ja_ores/css/handheld/template.css and remove the following code:

    #ja-search .button { display: none; }

    Hi tienhc

    Thanks but I don’t want to remove the icon because the search module is active – but using the add-on that you suggested it shows that the search is working as it should. Thanks.
