Will there be support in the distant future? I notice that some modules can only pull information from articles that were added in via the default way instead of k2. I’m just worried that eventually, that might be a module that I really want to use but is unable to work with articles added via k2.

If I ever come to a scenario like this, can I convert the articles added via k2 to the default easily?

No prob, I believe it should be pretty good since Joomart has decided to use it in the template. I’ll check the userguide soon 🙁

I’ve already created all my articles using k2. I hope everything turns out fine in the long run. No issue.
