    Hello there,

I would like to have the slogin feature (Found in JA Appolio template) on JA Sugite template.

Is there a way achieve this?

    Thanks,

    Vinod

    Hi Vinod,

Slogin is just another 3-rd party component with login module and as such you can implement it with any Joomla template of your choice.

All you need to do is to purchase the component, install it and its modules, configure it and publish it on a position of your choice.

    Hope it helps,

    Regards,

    Alex

    Hi Alex,

Sorry I was not being very clear with my initial question. I have access to all extensions and that’s not a problem.

The question is that I would like to have the login in position ‘action’, how do I do this?

    Thanks,

    Vinod

    Hi Vinod,

I am not sure I am aware of the “action” position in our JA Sugite template:

    <positions>
    <position>languageswitcherload</position>
    <position>features-intro</position>
    <position>footer</position>
    <position>footer-1</position>
    <position>footer-2</position>
    <position>footer-3</position>
    <position>footer-4</position>
    <position>footer-5</position>
    <position>footer-info</position>
    <position>head-search</position>
    <position>mainnav</position>
    <position>navhelper</position>
    <position>breadcrumbs</position>
    <position>off-canvas</position>
    <position>masthead</position>
    <position>video-background</position>
    <position>portfolio-menu</position>
    <position>position-0</position>
    <position>position-1</position>
    <position>sidebar-1</position>
    <position>sidebar-2</position>
    <position>slideshow</position>
    <position>position-2</position>
    <position>position-3</position>
    <position>position-4</position>
    <position>position-5</position>
    <position>position-6</position>
    <position>position-7</position>
    <position>position-8</position>
    <position>position-9</position>
    <position>position-10</position>
    <position>position-11</position>
    <position>position-12</position>
    <position>debug</position>
    </positions>

I may be wrong, but the Slogin module on your screenshot seems to be positioned to what in JA Sugite is “off-canvas”. Please have a look how Joomla’s own Login module would look on that position:

Is this what you are after?

    Regards,

    Alex

    Hi Alex,

You’re right. But what is nice about the Ja Appolio template is that the menu module and the login module open in separate windows. This is because the menu is assigned to off-canvas position and the login module is assigned to action position. On Ja Sugite template there is only off-canvas position. Therefore if I assign both modules to this position then they open in the same window vertically aligned (See attachment).

As a result of this, I am now looking to add the action position to this template where I can have a separate login button on top right that opens only the login module. Any help on this much appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Vinod
