I am currently using Teline III for my site and I’m almost done converting it to Teline IV and just noticed that the very top bar does not have a login/register module the way Teline III had it. Is there any way to add it to this module?

    Dear dhartionline!

This is a easy way for you to add login/register module to Teline IV in top mega menu:

    – Login to admin, go to extensions-> module manager and create new login module (Set its name “member”)

    – Go To Menu -> magezine and create new item choose its type “separator” and set parameters like my screenshot.

Hope this helps and good luck. 😎

Thanks, that worked. Is there any way to have the text change to “sign out” once someone signs in?

    Dear dhartionline!

Please hover your mouse to “member”, you will see logout button.

I did this also and it worked, but it showes up on the menu bar and not at the very top next to seach. I tried several things to publish to search but can’t seem to get it to work up there.

What must we do to get it to publish next to the seach at top of page?

Hi, I upgraded to ver IV from III and I also want to implement this, but I couldn’t find the “magazine” menu to start with.

Thanks for additional help in advance!

This is only way to get login to mega menu. We haven’t found other way to get the logout button to next to search!

Are you saying that you cannot!?!?

I want to unpublish ‘Headlines’, move Search over to the left where Headlines was and publish ‘Login’ where Search was (upper right corner).

Are you telling us that we/you cannot do something like this? This was the original question of this thread.

    Dear Molsenale!

I want to say that we could call login button at mega menu, but after you login, you will need to hover your mouse to show logout button and click to it to logout.

you can unpublish the “headlines” by logging in to admin and then unpublish the janewsticker module.

To move search to the left where “headlines” was, please go to admin find the search module and change its positions to headlines.

Hope this helps and good luck!
