December 14, 2010 at 10:32 pm #157453I have publish a single article in my site and everything seems fine, then I created a second one and site gets messed up:
Only two articles, nothing else, but here is a clue for you the pros,
I have edit my logo dimensions in template.css to be ( width=250 by 58 height.
I do not know if this can cause this in the following conditions:
Article 1 has a title lenth of line and a half withing the display of front page module feature article,
Article 2 has more than two lines almost 3 lines, this cause the template to brake, if I put 2 or less text in the title it works fine and nothing brakes.I may try a third article with less text to see, living the 3 lines title in the article 2, and no…did not work, I had to unpublished that article completely to fixe it.
Any clue Joomlart?
PS this is my filth day trying to at least get to know this template, beautiful design but unstable.
Thanks
Luis Cepeda

Try reducing the Title Max Length in the newsticker module (Actualidad) to 20.

December 15, 2010 at 3:07 am #366839Another problem with the JA News FP module. I installed the quickstart and the front page looks nothing like the demo. The Teline II and Teline III layout styles work fine, but the default layout style displays like the default Joomla frontpage. I’ve attached a screenshot to give you an idea.

December 15, 2010 at 3:38 am #366850Steiner, Thanks that was good, I actually was coming back to say the same, actually I reduced it to 50 and set the module paramers to no show title just in case (fo my test I needed to see titles so I knew where I was)
But yes, you are correct, I just don’t get why in the code they allow 1600 charaters for a tittle, (WoW!!! big TITLE) sure anybody can get confused here.
Ithacaindy,
I do not see the JA Frontpage published on you site, if that is the JA FronPage Module you need to look at the settings in the guide provide in the root of this forum, check all the JA modules and make sure they are publish and also make sure they are published in the right position.Hope that helps.
