I’m using the “JA Cagox Quick Start ” but it stops on the “Installing Sample Data” and returns to step 2 with a huge yellow window and this error:

“Duplicate entry ‘1-84-???’ for key ‘state_3_code’ SQL=INSERT INTO `tppx_virtuemart_states` (`virtuemart_state_id`, `virtuemart_vendor_id`, `virtuemart_country_id`, `virtuemart_worldzone_id`, `state_name`, `state_3_code`, `state_2_code`, `ordering`, `shared`, `published`, `created_on`, `created_by`, `modified_on`, `modified_by`, `locked_on`, `locked_by`) VALUES (390, 1, 10, 0, ‘San Juan’, ‘SJN’, ‘SJ’, …”

See the attached file with short top portion of the error, I could not upload the entire message, because of the blog restriction of 19 KB for the .txt files, but send me an email and I will send you the full file.

Looks like its having a conflict with Virtuemart, I hope some body could help.

Hi
The issue is due to DB collation
you can try to do this “the collation database needs to format utf8_general_ci”
Change the format and then try to install the package .

I have the same problem, Please where can I change the collation database to format ”utf8_general_ci”?
I tried from phpMyadmin but did not help!

Hi
You need to change the Db collation for the database in which u want to install the package from php myadmin .
Then try to install it .
