Hi,
I’m using the “JA Cagox Quick Start ” but it stops on the start with error about ”Magic Quotes GPC Off”

I created php5.ini file (on installation/php5.ini) with the following code:

magic_quotes_gpc = Off
magic_quotes_runtime = Off
magic_quotes_sybase = Off

But did not help…

In this case you should contact the hosting provider to get more help from them 🙂

Or you can try to follow this tutorial from Joomla! documentation (using htaccess method)
