I installed the latest version of JA Teline IV on Joomla 1.6 in my localhost. I also installed JOMSocial component. It looked good. I observe some strange behavior though when I try to login in JOMSocial. I log in ok in JOMSocial. Then go to another tab and come back there it wants me to login again. The login state is not reflected across the site.

I dont have this issue with JA Teline IV installation that I downloaded a couple of months back. So I guess this is a bug that got introduced recently.

I noticed the same problem in JA Social 1.6 template and opened a bug yesterday. Looks like they fixed it and released a new version today. Not sure what that fix was and if the same can be applied to this too.

    Hi,

Have you checked the flow you have explained with any default joomla template? Does the same issue occur with default template as well?

Himangi, Thank you for the reply. Per your suggestion I used Beez2 as the default template. I also made fruit shopt menu as the default entry menu with JOMSocial as one of the menu items in it.

With this setup I dont see the login issues. So the problem could be either in recent JA Telen-IV template or the same data (?) that got installed with it. My knowledge of Joomla ends at that level :-).

As I mentioned in the thread earlier I had no issues with the JA Talene-IV that I installed earlier (which I still have for testing).

    Hi,

I checked with another developer and Ja Teline iv is working fine with Jomsocial and we could not reproduce the issue.. Can you please make sure you are using latest versions of all the extensions and check again?

You had mentioned you are working on the local server, if you can move the site to some live server and still observer the same issue, then please provide us your site admin access and ftp access so that we can take a look.
