Either the client would be very unhappy about me even needing help from a forum, letting people work on the site I have no contracts with and never met before for real or wanting to showcase his or her site in any type of public forum if with member access only or not.

One other thing is that it makes no sense to route useless traffic to live sites. Sites in development by clients of own ones need no viewers. Also those “very funny” fun hackers can afford a membership in any club and there were and are cases where one rather avoids to post an own site or especially a clients one in any forum where people can gather information better than google about sites, especially when people come up with security issues of their sites and have a live url present. Good belief is not what should be present in any case.

Just the common sense as soon something is business, though, nothing else. That some people use scripts is sure but those who are members here and mention they do not share live urls or have it on a local server, they use the legal ones they pay for, by logic, and most people here only ask such questions in the member forums.:) The ones who do not, who cares, this is not my or our business to hunt them down or whatever, shall they mess with the hidden spyware and viruses those warez may come with. That is not our problem for real.</blockquote>

    huh?

My question is when you can live someplace peaceful and no crime, why would you live in a city? We don’t lock doors, no one steals from anyone, no one goes hungry or homeless. Water and air are clean and there is no noise pollution. Cost of living is low (except oil at $6.79 per gallon). No one is in a hurry here… no place to go… no stress though either. Best place on the planet!!! :D</blockquote>

Must be heaven, as long one has enough money to enjoy it, also when living costs are low, also low must be paid…;)

That is how it is…quality you do not see very often here in the forums, I mean that totally off the hook developments based on JA Templates…..the top notch designers keep it on a low! For that common sense reasons….;) Or would you post one of your sites from clients right away here in the forum for any creeper to look at your problems you have, lol? I do not think so, without offending anyone who does so, just to make sure.

It is a joke that confronts very serious issues that are by fact not so joky anymore. 😉

This sort of thing goes on, always will and there is nothing we can do about it. All you can do a take the piss out of those afflicted with dodgy warez software. It is our duty to do so.

That “some member” would be me in another topic where you take everything out of proportions and are totally over reacting.

Please dont act like how you have the only person who has a business mind. I work in a big international company and own my own successful business in web development . Normally i only use joomla and JA templates for charity websites wich i dont have a single reason for to not post any links too.

For large company websites i would never use a JA template or joomla for that matter.

I would appreciate you stop pushing your opinion on others, as others might think different. And respect someone else its opinions (like mine) without having a rant about it to everyone that how i do things is wrong. I usually think quite different on things you are saying and believe that a lot of things you say are “wrong” but i respect your opinion and try to act that way.

So, in other words, you do not want to allow me to simply name how I work without even saying anything bad against you or anyone doing it this way???

But, more strange to me, so you say JA Templates are not good enough to be used for any “better” site, only good for fast made sites??? All I can read from that ist that you mean that or what and it is totally nonsense, man, totally nonsense….ILMAO! Even better for those sites, bennitos, even better than any other sites templates, man!!!!:D

I think you are putting words in peoples mouths there woohoo.

I too mainly use Joomla for charity or small sites. For big company sites it has too many drawbacks.

Life moves pretty quick. if you don’t stop to look around once in a while, you might miss it.

No you can name how you work, but i dont like you act that thats the only way to do things.

You can say that im not doing things right, because im not always doing it right. Thats why it is good to see different opinions. I really did not try to say that im always right, or that its not ok that someone says i do it different or feel that they do it better.

I did not try to say that JA templates are not good enough, but i prefer to not use joomla on larger company sites, and i personally prefer creating a unique look instead of using a template for those.

Joomla works really really well for charity websites for me, as it has a short learning curve and it is rather easy for them to maintain their sites.
