May 27, 2007 at 8:26 pm #220947Hi
I don’t use that template but usually there is an option in the module parameters to type in the content ID numbers that you want to display, seperated with commas.
Hope this helpsMay 28, 2007 at 6:28 pm #221033I said about items in any category, i cant ordered by the way i want. The last items publish appear frist on the front page, but maybe i want to choose another. That is the problem.

May 28, 2007 at 8:34 pm #221042Did you try using the little up/down arrows next to the catagory items in the admin to change the order?
May 30, 2007 at 3:57 pm #221166It seems that the ja-news “blocks” do not follow the order set in Joomla (with the little blue arrows in the backend) — they only show the latest item first. I would like a fix so that I can customize the order of stories.

May 30, 2007 at 4:13 pm #221169Hi
I seem to remember having this problem myself. I think what I did was to unpublish all the articles except the one I wanted to show, then I republished them again with the effect of the one I wanted to show being the first one and the rest under that. I don’t know if this will work for you, but it’s worth a try. Good luck.July 17, 2007 at 3:01 am #224337no it doesnt work…help!
July 17, 2007 at 3:27 am #224340ok easy fix you need to unzip and modify mod_janews.php, then open in editor to replace
created with ordering
Upload file to /module this will overwrite…Now all the last item will be published and NOT via created date. With the up down arrow on all content you can push down the one you want published so that it may appear on frontpage.
