I installed K2 and setup the backend paramaters as to what the user guide says. Can any help with the articles not showing at all??

If following user guide can’t help, you can build a demo site via our DEMO BUILDER tool then see how we configure for demo site and apply to your own.

I tried to emulate the demo builder with no success. I mimicked the setting sin the menu, k2 categories, modules and plugins but still nothing shows on the front page. Is there something I might be missing?
