October 31, 2012 at 12:22 am #181832As a subject, it’s possible to create a joomla-based site like istockphoto?
Which components, plugins are needed?
Any ideas are welcome how to build nice photography web site with features to sell pictures and to have this nice search module on the left side to narrow your results.here is an example:

Hello artistgates,You can find on http://extensions.joomla.org/ . There is an extension other users suggested on Joomla forum that I think it is suitable for you http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/e-commerce/paid-downloads/19786 . You can check its demo in that link.
Regards.

October 31, 2012 at 9:26 am #471551Yes. I think this would be quite easy to do personally. If I was doing it, I’d use Joomshopping for the ecommerce side, and use their extended filter module. You’d have to plan characteristics and attributes properly but I don’t think it would be hard. The only difficulty I see is making it truly responsive if that is what you want but it is already available for Joomla3. I know of a few other modules you could utilise for the pop-ups/rollovers that are built for joomshopping.
Btw I don’t work for them. 🙂
Hope that helps!
