March 25, 2011 at 4:45 pm #383294In the MAMP control settings under PHP Extensions please enable PHP_cURL and see if that helps. Also make sure you are not running too late a version of PHP and MySql as some are known not to work well with Joomla 1.6
March 25, 2011 at 5:07 pm #383298uhm…I don’t understand very well…where do I need to go? I’ve tried to install also the 1.5 version but the mistake is the same. It’ s a template problem I think, because if I change template in template manager everything is ok..

March 25, 2011 at 6:05 pm #383305It is probably because certain PHP modules are not enabled in Mamp. You would have to ask on the Mamp forums on how to enable those correctly. Mamp is also setup with a very low 8mb memory_limit and this will certainly prevent many templates from running. You will need to up this to 32mb or even 64mb. Again, you will need to speak to the Mamp guys for details on configuring that or search Google.
Another thing to try would be to go into the module manager and disable the ja twitter module and see if that works. That uses one php module that can cause problems if it is not enabled.

March 25, 2011 at 6:58 pm #383317On a Mac there are many methods but unless you know your way around it can get complicated. Best stick with Mamp and learn how to configure it to your needs. There is pleny of support on the Mamp forums.
March 28, 2011 at 4:41 pm #383684I’ve tried but nothing change. I stil have blank page on frontend… have you try to instal locally the template? With others templates I haven’t problems, but Ja Limes yes,…

March 28, 2011 at 7:39 pm #383695I install loads of templates locally including this one. But as I no longer have a working MAC to use I am using a Windoes box or a Linux box. All work fine and I an 100% sure that you just need to setup Mamp correctly for this to work. The T3 templates along with many other modern templates require more extensions and sometimes a little more resources than older Joomla templates so in this case it is important to make those available. Sorry, but I cannot help you with the setup of Mamp.
