That is the way J1.6 now workes. Gone are the old Category/Section setup in favour of nested categories. This gives a lot more flexibility.

I post article subcategory. Because the post can be added to only one category. And when I clikc the “kosmos” category of post to be seen. The post can only be seen on the subcategory when I’ve put in the article.

I added article “Planetler” category. But this category subcategories “kosmos”.
When I click “kosmos” category my article not visible. On the category nothing happens.
But subcategory visible…

Maybe the language barrier is too mich for me here. Hopefully someone else will chip in.

In the meantime I suggest you raise a support ticket and include a link to your site and an admin logon so the team can investigate for you.

in this photo category and subcategory
when new not is added it’s possible to choose category, then I choose suitable subcategory for the note and published. Then, published note can be seen in subca aftetegoryr the update page. It’s impossible to see subcategory’s notes in category. Fot it I must must add main category, in this case there is not to be able to add new subcategory.
but in J1.5 I did it with the “section”
