J3.4 is out now for a while but Uber is still not J3.4 ready. I saw in my extension manager that there are updates for the T3 plugin and the masshead module. But at least the masshead module is not available for download as I only have access part of the template install.

Also, there is no information if the T3 plugin is all I need to make Uber J3.4 ready.

The latest T3 plugin update to 2.4.5 broke my site, so I am reluctant with any further updates.

It would be fine – if not necessary! – to get a reliable information about your update policy and the schedule you have in mind.

    thanks.

    Hi there
In my opinion if you don’t have any features expected in Joomla! 3.4 .
Than there are no reasons to rush this update.
    Thank you,

But I do, for example a better front editing for modules. This definitely doesn’t work with Uber anymore!!!

Also ReCaptcha 2.0 is worth an update!

UBER working well with Joomla v3.4.1 and T3 v2.4.7 for me.

All JA modules are updated too with JA Extended manager.

It seems that the T3 framework plugin is responsible for the problem.

Peter van Westen from Nonumber wrotes:
“You are using a template that uses the T3 framework.
This framework overrides the Joomla module helper file and is not compatible with the latest changes to Joomla 3.4.1 core (new event triggers). Please ask the template developers to fix this.”

So I will ask my template developer to fix this 😉

The plugin has already been updated. Please use JA Extension Manager to update the plugin.

However, some small issues may exist in the template, but they are all being worked on. Some are ready.

Just so you can all see just how much work goes into the upgrade to J3.4 please look at the change log for JA Bookshop – http://pm.joomlart.com/browse/JATCBOOKS

Just look at how many items needed editing (via the show more link at the bottom) then remember every item has to then be tested by the test team before packaging the quickstart and the template. In addition, all the plugins and modules have to go through the same treatment. Multiply this by all the current templates and you can see just how vast the upgrade project is. We understand people are frustrated at having to wait, but better to have a stable release than a rushed and buggy one. I know of one club that simply updated their website to say J3.4 ready but didn’t actually test their catalogue, just fixed the problems as users reported them.
