I added defined ".mybodyclass" in custom.css.
Then added " mybodyclass" to Main Menu -> Home -> Page Class.

When using Firefox 58.0b4’s Web Developer. mybodyclass is listed within: html: class="com_content ..etc"
Although the changes defined in mybodyclass do not appear on the page.

It appears same for all the browser as i can see here: http://prntscr.com/hcobkc
You have to apply the code to body class now.
For example, Test is page class and you want to apply style on the body
use this

.Test body {..........}
