    Hello,

We are interested in your JA Amazon S3 product but are unsure if it will fit our requirements. We run on Joomla 3.4. We are planning to host about 100GB of files in S3 cloud and share it to a few of our logged in users (based on their access levels).

The users should then be able to download(only) through our website – directly from s3 instead of loading them in our website. I think you do that because I read that links are updated to the ones in cloud. We do not intend to store 100GB files in our server.

However, our files in S3 cannot be public and only we can know its credentials. This means, the user can d/l only by logging into our website and not directly from there. Your component in our website is the one which can know the credentials. Nor can it sync locally..otherwise our website cannot handle the load.

Is this something that your component does?

    Thanks,

    Ashwin

    Hi jkvm.

The JA Amazon S3 doesn’t have the function to download file for user yet.

The team will consider this further to add this as new feature for extension. Please stay tuned and check the updates for new release.

    Hi,

If the URL and the path of image still the same, it won’t be a problem.

You can try out JA S3 Amazon, we have policy of refund, if it doesn’t have function as you want, you can ask for refund.
