    Hi,

I have Jomsocial and there is Amzon S3 syncronization also enabled. I use the same account and keys like for JA Amazon S3 component.
For both of them I have give the same bucket.
When I was uploading files into the bucket with Amazon S3 I have seen that there are files uploading what are (should be) synchornized by Jomsocial S3 settings.

The question is, what happens in this case?
Does the two component settings conflict?
If they are not conflicting if both are enabled are they duplicating, owerwriting or mergeing each other?

Example: Jomsocial images are in the images folder as subfolder. Jomsocial S3 setup synchronizes it.
But, there other images as well in the images folder what I want to synchronize as well, therefor I use JA Amazon S3 to synchronize the whole image folder. What will happen with Jomsocial images synchronized before? I ask it because it seems to me, that they are uploaded again, although I chosed only uploading the the new images.

Another question, because I haven’t found it anywhere, in the Sync Profile what are “Default” and “Caches folder”?
There is an exclamtaion mark beside, ususally it means I shuold do something with it, but I found no information about what.
Also the tutorial don’t cares about them. So what are they, what to do with them?

    Thank you!

    Hi Jozsef!
I think it is good practice to create a bucket for anything that needs to use one to prevent issues. Is there any reason/benefit that you see in having one bucket?
I don’t know which one synchronizes first as I only work for JA and not JomSocial.
I do know there is probably no reason to be using both components as they accomplish about the same things. I would disable JomSocial S3 and see if you are pleased with the results.
