Hello,

I respect that Joomla 1.6 has just been released, but why offer JA 1.6 templates if they won’t install on Joomla 1.6?

I installed a fresh release version of Joomla 1.6 and have had no issues installing Joomla 1.6 compatible extensions, components, plugins, modules and even some basic templates.

I even installed the latest JA 1.6 compatible blank template etc, but when I try to install any of the 4 available JA 1.6 compatible templates, no success.

I get the following error messages when I try to install JA Anion template for Joomla 1.6.x.

JInstaller: :Install: Cannot find XML setup file

Unable to find install package

Why offer something that can’t be installed?

Are you unzipping them first? The package does contain a lot more than just the template and you have to unzip the entire package first.
