Consider me a Joomla Newbie.

I installed JA Argo quickstart package on my localhost. Here is what I want to do/test.

1) Be able to create a new K2 article from the front end – i.e give capability to an end user to contribute from the front end.

2) Want to take it to the next level, where an end user while navigating the web and after finding an interesting article (URL), should be able to create that as a K2 article. Based on my research so far, bookmarklet could be a nice solution for that. Any ideas, pointers and additional information in that area?

You can enable this feature from K2 Component Configuration >> parameters >> Front End Editing Tab >> Enable frontend editing to Yes

You will need also to set the user groups assigning them the corrects rights to manage categories where they can pos their articles
