wondered the same, also hopefully they integrate news modules into this one, and some nice goodies.
As far for the look i like the clean, no-extra-images that slow down loading times, and the metro look, this is modern and more and more sites will go with this. but that again is a matter of opinion. as long as the template gives us special options, versatility and stigmatization.March 7, 2013 at 12:46 pm #485704I’m really disappointed. Again.

March 8, 2013 at 9:08 am #485781Why disappointed? Looks like a nice looking template as far as we can tell from a couple of images.
Joomlart release some of the best templates out there. I have browsed a lot of template sites and they are one of the top two – if not the best. And remember, they haven’t even released a demo of it yet! Give them a break.@paananen 363362 wrote:
I’m really disappointed. Again.

March 8, 2013 at 10:11 am #485791Compared to who though? I think JA Wall for example is an excellent template, with lots of that is new and original. JA Elastica and JA Lens are also outstanding and have original elements. It’s all right to say you want more, but give me an example of another Joomla template company that is doing better? If I was you, I’d use the new free blank T3 V3 template as a base and design your own 🙂 The flexibility in their new framework is amazing. I’m not saying they can’t improve, but there’s a lot less to complain about here than with other template designers…:)

Templaza only now beginning, and now is innovating more than any other club Joomla. They were not content to use existing components, and are developing a component better than K2.
Ja Wall is a good product but could be much better. Templaza is developing templates “responsive”, much more complete and creative.Ja Wal is a well of problems. All my investment Ja Wall was a failure and a waste of time
Here’s an example:

March 8, 2013 at 5:17 pm #485837All this might be true, but i stay with JA because of great community, for now its only thing why i am here, since truth to be told from grade A they went to grade C at best with last 5 months of templates, they havent produced anything worth wile, not one template was with something that hasnt been seen already 6 or 10 months ago. no advanced in any modules, one of the best modules they have had for content, ja_newspro sits there unused at all, underdevelopped, and just like a thrown ex fighter in corner waiting to be used.
Templates that JA makes these days are not as good, not inovative, not easy to use as they used to be. For minimal changes you have to do a lot of manual work.
So yes some of these people are right that other template power houses overtook JA, and are leaping over JA even now.Why doesnt JA listen to its users? Why doesnt whole development team get involved in forums and lets debate, polls, input of users start and keep going. to see what YOU – JOOMLART should do, which way you should go.
ASK US, we will tell you, users, programmers, from real world, that use your products in real life deployment areas. We are the ones who know more than you do which way you should go, or at least we can push you in right direction.YES JOOMLART ‘was’ the best, and NOW? no, now doesnt even come close, but JA with help of its userbase can help bring JA to old glory and when users were so happy each month that you gave us your BEST.

March 8, 2013 at 9:29 pm #485853Looks like The Verge featured article with TNW menu, and the layout of endgaget/venturebeat.
The only intresting thing is the Featured articles. I hope that is a dynamic news module and not two separate ones. I have yet to see a module like this in Joomla. The rest of the layout can be achieved by stripping down any other template to is basic design.
The auto load is great if you don’t have ads on that page, otherwise you the user needs a fixed ad.

March 8, 2013 at 10:17 pm #485854I am subscriber to JoomlArt for over 5 years and NEVER paid attention to my suggestions. And it always made me very frustrated. And I was thinking maybe my tips were not good enough. But I always felt very dissatisfied with Joomla. And I always knew what I want.
Look at my latest tips on Jomlart:
“Templates for movies, videos and Ads.”
http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/templates-for-movies-videos-and-ads/I wish I could do this with Joomla:
http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/i-wish-i-could-do-this-with-joomla/My suggestions are not good enough???
Maybe not quite. If not, see:
I did the same in the forum Templaza. And look at the result:Ads template

March 10, 2013 at 4:00 am #485903Hi guys,
The very first demo of JA Argo is now up http://joomla25-templates.joomlart.com/ja_argo/
We only finished 70% of what need to be done. So be patient!
There is 2 things you should know about this template.
1. Why does it looks so simple?
We are stealing the best UI/UX trends from the following:http://thenextweb.com
http://readwrite.com
http://mashable.com
http://designmodo.comIs it appropriate to steal?
Yes, it is and we would like to become a great Joomla Artist
http://www.usabilitypost.com/2008/08/21/dont-copy-a-design-steal-it/
http://gizmodo.com/5483914/steve-jobs-1996-good-artists-copy-great-artists-stealThe brainstorming of this concept takes more time than the concept drawing and code implimentation.
2. What are the next steps for this template
Very much like JA Teline, JA Elastica, and JA Wall, JA Argo will be the next big thing at JoomlArt in 2013. What you are seeing now is just a base theme for a rising design trend is Blog-Magazine websites.
If the JA Wall has 9 styles for you to choose from, I can’t come with an exact number right now, but JA Argo will certainly have a few style + layout options so that you can build another TNW, another ReadWrite magazine without any customization, and with whatever content you are have right now.
Some of you may dislike the idea behind this template, I don’t care. As a person who has been spending thousands of hours working with Joomla, with web development, I really know what makes a great template. It is not about the visual design, nor a few fancy features that 99% of our customers won’t be able to use. At JoomlArt, we are not trying to serve every Joomla user on earth. We are doing our best to serve users who really understand how a Joomla website should be. For the rest, we will be honest and sincere in sharing what knowledge we have gained over the past 8 years.
“Most people make the mistake of thinking design is what it looks like. People think it’s this veneer – that the designers are handed this box and told, ‘Make it look good!’ That’s not what we think design is. It’s not just what it looks like and feels like. Design is how it works.” – Steve Jobs
How does this apply to a web template?
A good template looks beautiful with demo content. A great template looks beautiful with your real content, in your own setup.
A good template has 30 fancy features. A great template has about 5 features that really work.5 users say Thank You to Hung Dinh for this useful post

March 10, 2013 at 4:50 am #485904This looks better than Metro for sure. The sides are fixed based on scroll amount, which is what I wanted to see; very nice. one gripe is the sidebars can be scrolled–yet?
