I’m trying to use JReviews with Argo and it works fine until I enable the JReviews SEF component. At that point the inset moves to the middle and a lot of other CSS things go wrong. If I disable the SEF component all is well again. I looked at the net panel in firebug to see if I could find CSS files not being loaded once SEF for JReviews was enabled but I don’t see anything unusual. Hoping you might have a clue for me at what is going on. I’ve setup JReviews with a few other themes and they worked ok, this is the first odd thing I’ve seen.

    Thanks.

Have you posed your question to the JReviews Support Team – as it is their component that seems to be giving you issues?

Well their SEF component works fine with other themes I tried (free Rocket theme and default joomla), and the SEF component works fine with Argo (SEF occurs properly), but Argo stops displaying properly. Since Argo is the thing that isn’t functioning properly seems this is the place to start because since Joomla Art knows their themes well they could potentially see what’s going on – and give me a hint if in their control or something I have to go back to the JReview folks. Seems other JReviews users in forums are using other Joomla Art themes ok, but there are display issues with this one specifically.

@greatjava: Can you backup your Argo website and capture a snapshot of jReviews SEO settings that you tried to enable? I will help to debug this weird issue.

Awesome! It’s just the quick start + jreviews so no backup needed I can setup again in 5 minutes.
This picture shows the component that when enabled moves the inset and messes up other style on the site., disable it all is good again.

@greatjava: Thank you. I need more time to check out this issue and will back to reply you with detailed explanation tomorrow’s morning. Is it fine ?

@greatjava: Thank you for your patience. The System – JReviews SEF plugin causes the rendering javascripts of our module semantic markup (T3Xhtml) inside T3 system plugin not to display the correct module layout , that means the plugin is breaking the whole template layouts.

This issue is related to the 3rd party extension conflict rather than a template error that generally we will suggest you guys to display this 3rd party plugin. However, I will be happy to transfer this issue to our T3 developer who is good at Javascripts to check out this conflict more carefully.

The temporarily solution in this case is to disable this System – JReviews SEF plugin.
